Other FAQ:

Can I bring my dogs or children?

Sorry! While we love dogs and kids, The Juniper is a place to leave those responsibilities behind. I know Fido is the best dog ever and your babies are angels on Earth. But to make sure you (and your neighbors) can fully relax and unwind, we are a pet-free, 21+ property. Can you say #KidFreeWeekend?

Can I bring guests?

Listen, we like to par-tay as much as anyone. But per county ordinances, and for the safety of our guests, we cannot allow unauthorized guests (i.e., anyone who isn't staying overnight) on the premises.

What happens if it rains?

You glamp in the rain! The tents are 100% waterproof, so no need to worry about getting wet. (Plus, relaxing in the hot tub in a cool rain is truly underrated.)

Do I have to pay for propane?

Propane for the grill is included at no extra charge. But, because some people were unfortunately abusing that courtesy at the fire pits, we do charge a $10/night rental fee to use our propane for the fire pit. Or, you are welcome to bring your own and use the fire pit for free.

How private are the sites?

Our sites are close enough so that the walk to the bathroom isn't too far for anyone, but they're secluded between trees and privacy walls so you can enjoy your stay without seeing your neighbors from your site. Don't forget, this is still glamping.

Is it quiet there?

More often than not, it's very quiet. The majority of the time I spend outside here, I truly find myself thinking, 'It's so peaceful out here.' However, please note that we are conveniently located in the limits of Canyon Lake, which means we do have neighbors and can hear occasional road noise on high-traffic days. During peak tourist times, such as holidays, it can be a little noisier out here than usual with the influx of tourists that come to the area. Also, a restaurant just up the road from us hosts live musicians on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer, which means our guests get a free concert on those days from around 7-10 p.m. as the music echoes through the hills.

If you're looking for some true peace and quiet, we would recommend planning to visit during the week or in the cooler months of the year, when fewer people are in the area.

We also ask our own guests to keep their volume to a minimum to be courteous to those around them. We appreciate your consideration and cooperation.
